Ingredients and spices that need to be Prepare to make Chicken Tikka Masala:
- 500 gm boneless chicken pcs
- 1 tsp First Marination garlic paste,
- 1/2 tsp ginger paste,
- 1 tsp Kashmiri red chilli powder,
- 1 tsp lemon juice,
- to taste, Salt
- 4 tbsp Second Marination.. ). mustard oil, smoked, cooled,
- 1 tsp Kashmiri red chilli powder,
- 1/2 tsp haldi powder,
- 1 tsp dhania powder,
- to taste, . Salt
- 1/2 tsp black salt,
- 1/2 tsp garam masala powder,
- 1/2 tsp chaat masala,
- 1 tsp .garlic paste,
- 1/2 tsp ginger paste,
- 1/2 tsp dry roasted kasoori methi crushed,
- 1 cup hung curd,
- 1 tbsp lightly roasted besan,
- 1/4 tsp crushed ajwain,
- to taste, Salt
- For Masala....
- 2 tbsp . oil
- 3 tbsp butter,
- 1 big onion chopped finely,
- 1 tsp garlic paste,
- 1/2 tsp ginger paste,
- 2 large tomato chopped finely,
- to taste, Salt
- 1 tsp dhania powder,
- 1/2 tsp haldi powder,
- 1/2 tsp red chilli powder,
- 1/4 tsp garam masala powder,
- 1 tejpatta & 1 dalchini,
- to taste, Salt
- 1 tbsp For Makhani Gravy.... oil,
- 1 small onion sliced,
- 1 tejpatta,
- 1/2 tsp kali mirch sabit,
- 1 bari elaichi,
- 1 dalchini,
- 5 laung,
- 4 choti elaichi,
- 4 red chilli,
- 5 garlic cloves,
- 1 /2 inch ginger chopped,
- 3 tomato 🍅 roughly chopped,
- 15 kaju,
- 1/2 cup fresh cream,
- 1/2 tsp dry roasted kasoori methi crushed,
- 1/2 tsp sugar,
Steps to make to make Chicken Tikka Masala
- First Marination... Take a mixing bowl, add chicken pcs & all the given ingredients, mix well. Keep it in the fridge for 4 hours.

- Second Marination... A). Take mustard oil in another mixing bowl, add Kashmiri red chilli powder & haldi powder, mix it well.
- B). Now add all the other ingredients, mix it thoroughly.
- C). Squeeze the chicken pcs, add in the mix, marinate the chicken thoroughly. Keep it in the fridge for 4 hours.

- For Makhani Gravy...A). Take a pan, add oil, heat it. In goes whole garam masala, onion, ginger & garlic, saute it for a sec.
- B). Now add all the given ingredients one by one, mix it well. Top it up with water, cook it until tomato becomes mushy.

- Turn off the flame, cool it, remove the garam masala, grind it to a fine paste, keep aside.
- In the mean time cook tikkas either on grill pan or bake it.
- For Baking.... A). Preheat the oven on 220 degree centigrade. Grease the baking tray with oil, arrange all the tikkas, sprinkle some oil onto it. Bake it for 20 minutes. Check in between, cook it for more 5 minutes if required.


- Now take a wok or deep bottom pan, add oil & butter, heat it. In goes tejpatta & dalchini, saute it for a minute.


- Now add chopped onion, stir fry it until light brown. Add ginger garlic paste, saute it until rawness is released. Add very lil water to avoid burning.



- Now add tomato & salt, mix it well. Lower the flame, cover it with the lid, cook it until tomato becomes mushy.

- Open the lid, increase the flame, add haldi, dhania & Kashmiri red chilli powder, mix it well, add very lil water, cook it until oil has oozed out.

- Now add makhani gravy, mix it well, add lil water. You can add some more butter if you want. Cook it for 5 minutes. Add garam masala, kasoori methi & sugar, mix it well.



- Now add tikka, stir it gently. Add fresh cream now, mix it well. Cover it again, lower the flame, cook it until oil has surfaced.



- Turn off the flame, cover it with the lid for 5 minutes. Open the lid, take out in a serving bowl, garnish it with chopped dhania patta & fresh cream.
