- For the chicken: cut and wash the chicken get a clean pot put on fire add the chicken,red chilli powder,turmeric powder,ginger garclic paste,garam masala powder,black pepper powder,yoghurt salt to Taste and seasoning mix well.
- Cover the pot let it cooked for 20-30mins.
- Get a flat clean pot add some oil all over the base.
- Start making a layers of the basmati rice and the chicken.
- Add the chicken spread it evenly.
- Add rice all over the chicken.
- I tbsp onion flavored oil(oil remained after frying onions).
- Pour saffron strands soaked in milk evenly across the top of the rice.
- Add fried onions.
- Cover the lid put on high flame for 20mins then turn on low flame for 10mins.
- Chicken biryani is readyyyy.
